We arrived at Trumbull campground around 1400 hours. Weary from the long drive, around 20 miles, we finally had camp set up by 1530 in space 36. The park
was nearly full so we were lucky to find a spot to plop.
Before we left Bridgeport, we had a pleasant surprise. Coming out of the local grocery store we were seeing double. In the parking lot were two Alumascape trailers being
pulled by Fords. The couple had waited to visit with us. They also have the same model and length and matching white F250 Ford. The only difference is there set up is a couple
years older. They also have the same brand of stabilizers. I wish I had thought to take pictures. Anyway, it was pleasant meeting these fine folks. They were headed home to
Gardnerville, Nevada.
Joe headed out to Trumbull Lake in the early evening and had success catching some strikingly colorful trout.
