Tuesday 19 February
Arrived Oak Hollow Camp Ground, High Point, North Carolina early afternoon. Picked out site, C20. Warm, pretty and looking forward to not traveling for a week. Dave & Rebecca Fuller
will join us in three days. We enjoyed traveling to High Point, Winston-Salem and Old Salem, N.C. While there we shared meals, good conversation, the flu, and
especially the two days at the International Custom Rod Builders Expo in High Point. Our apologies to Rebecca. While John stayed in the coach for the first few
days of the flu, I visited with the Fuller's and most likely I am the carrier. This was a long incubation flu, as Rebecca did not come down with it until we had
traveled on to Beaufort, South Carolina.
Our campground was quiet and located in an area surrounded by water on three sides. We had large sites and lots of room for walking the dogs and just relaxing.
Since it was cold, though clear most of the time, we did not seriously entertain fishing. We would return to this park again. The next few days will reveal all
our activities. Thanks for reading. We hope you enjoy our travel adventures.
