Home! Home sweet home....or is that, Home is Nevada. Well, it is the state song. We slept in as much as anyone can on an air station. It is exciting to hear the mechanical birds flying and then watching them closely. The air crew was not on base this weekend so only some light activity today. I always get a kick out of watching them take off in pairs and go through some maneuvers before soaring out of sight.
Now off to the base exchange for some shopping. Only this time the shopping is not for replenishing food and necessities for the coach. It for other things we have had on our 'need' list for awhile. The fun part was after shopping, we did not climb into the travel trailer to put anything away. We just sat our bags inside and zoomed thataway. This morning I was like the horse turned towards the barn and kept urging JP to get a move on. We had an appointment with the water company to have the water turned back on at 1500. We easily met that appointment.
We arrived home 1345 hours! Surprisingly, we have the coach almost completely unloaded in just over an hour. Of course, most of the basics stay inside to be ready for the next journey. We are glad to be home for spring and are surprised at the changes around town and our own neighborhood in just two months.
Odometer reading: start 23,962 miles - end 31,324 miles = We traveled 7,362 miles!!!
We hope you enjoyed following our adventure. Stay tuned as the next one starts in July.
