I remember many friends from that and the first grade class. I think David Windrem use to live across from my parents farm before moving into Kelseyville, I remember going with my parents to buy Honey at Edith Metzger home. Skip, Eugene, Charlie Fowler and Jim Carpenter which I believe lived in Finely near where my Aunt and Uncle lived I remember well. I also remember Ginger and her sister Joy when they lived next door to another Aunt and Uncle. Some names are familiar but that's all. For myself we moved right after the First Grade to Sebastopol area due to my mothers health, I have always liked Lake County and my wife, Debbie, and I were married at Clear Lake State Park in 1973. I graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1965, fought fire with CDF at Hopland Station before going into the Airforce where I served in Vietnam twice. When out I spent a couple more seasons at Hopland before going to Redding to attend school, that is where I met my wife Debbie. From there it became "US" and we raised two boys now married and have blessed us with with two daughters. We home schooled for 8-9 years and lived in Redding for 18 tears before moving to Vancouver Wa for work and currently are still there. Our lives have been an adventure and we have been greatly blessed over the years. We enjoy road trips, letterboxing and exploring history and they great outdoors to name a few and are always open to options. Thank you for letting me share even though I wasn't a actual part of the class. Ok that is my paragraph, You are welcome to edit if it is too long'
You asked how we are doing, we are doing great, Debbie is at the annual reunion with the Moms of our Home Schooling group for the weekend, they find a middle place as everyone is spread from Redding to Anacortes Wa. That leaves me alone with the dog and the Honey Do list.

...and a few days later...
Hi,
It has taken me awhile to unbury the picture of Toni and I from the first grade, hopfully it is attached to this note.
I am not real good at attachments, I don't do it to often. If it does not come through or is not clear let me know and I will try again.
I am afraid we still can't make it down for the reunion it would be fun. Debbie drives school bus and got a new boss last year, a few drivers either quit or retired
before the school end, he does not believe in letting people take time off during the school year. That ment they would miss everything from a Elk hunt to a Cruise. I keep falling
behind in work because I am so busy, its a good thing - job security.
Irene, you asked for a photo of us now so I have attached one that was taken in July while on vacation, we drove 6,000 miles in two weeks it is the most we have ever done.
Usually it is 4-5,000 miles. We did the southwest and included two Navajo guided tours. Friends are amazed because we pack everything including ourselves into a Mini Cooper.
Well I hope a lot of people show up for the reunion, drop me a note if you would like and let me know how it and the festival went. Take care of yourselves, enjoy life and those around you.
