Well, hi,
Very nice to hear from you and learn some of what you're doing. And I've wondered where Edie was. Joining the senior class at Kelseyville so late, I didn't get to know a lot of people very well, but being there was the best thing that ever happened to me.
I'm really only in contact with the Norton families and Nancy and Mike Svehla. They're my daughter Cari's godparents and will always be my best friends. Linda Price (West) and I were in contact but I've lost track of her the last few years. She was in Chico.
I'm in Everett, Washington, about 25 miles north of Seattle, where I was born and raised. All my family is here. I'm a court reporter in superior court, married to a prosecuting attorney and both wishing we could be retired. I've been there for 23 years but retirement is still a ways away.
I have two grandsons, Dain Allen - 2 1/2 years, and Clay David - born on Grandpa Bruce's birthday, March 27, so almost 3 months old. Their daddy Damon was always my personal favorite of Cari's high school boyfriends and they got back together and married four years ago, much to my delight. Life couldn't be much more perfect. I'm an extremely doting, devoted and involved grammie. This has to be my favorite time of life.
We spend as much time in Mexico as possible and took a wonderful safari to Kenya a year ago. Africa was a dream come true for me. Sensory overload.
I'm attaching some picture of the grandbabies. Looking forward to hearing more from you. I envy the locations you and Edie have settled. Beautiful country!
Steph
