We spent the night at Kingman, Arizona at the Circle "S" Campground. We even received a senior discount. It is located in town near Walmart and Smith's Grocery and Service center. Shopping at Smith's and then scanning your receipt at the pump gives you a nice discount on diesel. At last, relief at the pump. Instead of paying $4.19 a gallon, we get 20 cents off p/gallon. A full fill up and we are back on I40 heading home. I was hoping our timing would be just right so we would stop for the night at the borders of Bullhead City, Arizona and Laughlin, Nevada. I liked the look of a campground along the river when we first started this journey almost two months ago. Alas, it was too early to stop and wanted to continue on the adventure. After skirting around Las Vegas on Hwy 215, we took 95 North towards home. I had not been on this highway before. It is more lonely than Hwy 50. The road is nice and I enjoyed doing the driving. We stopped for the night in Tonopah, Nevada. This little town shows some life is still left in its spot on the map, unlike some others we passed through which are now mostly remnants. Like other campgrounds we've stayed in recently, we were the only guests. Joy-Land campground is spacious, has pull through spaces, full hookups including cable TV. It is cold again and we need heat during the night.
